At the end of last week, you may have seen this picture on our Facebook page. Well, here she is, folks: the beautiful Helena! Bully Project rescued her from the public shelter in Brooklyn and she’s now living comfortably in a foster home, waiting for her forever home. Is that you?
Helena is a year old pit bull mix who loves nothing more than snuggling. The more on top of her human she is, the better. She can start out a bit shy, but definitely warms up very quickly once she realizes there’s another hand to pet her and scratch her butt. And her expressive eyes always show her gratitude for the attention you pay her.
Helena is already vaccinated and microchipped and will be spayed before adoption. She is housebroken, crate trained, super dog friendly and eager to learn whatever you’re willing to teach her. She’s a young girl, so continued training will be crucial in developing a strong and lasting relationship with this sweetheart.
If you would like more information about Helena, or to apply to adopt her, please email bullyprojectnyc@gmail.com.
